THE VILLAGE IDIOT...IS CANADA FULL OF ALIENS???

The truth is north of the border: UFO sightings in Canada reach record high of THREE a day

Sixty-five years after the infamous Roswell incident, it seems that aliens have finally discovered Canada.
UFO sightings north of the border reached a near record high last year, with the group Ufology Research reporting 986 sightings across Canada, or almost three per day.
The report entitled 'The 2011 Canadian UFO Survey' does state that the majority of sightings were simply street lights or aircraft, however eight out of the 986 were considered to be 'high quality unknowns'.

'Ontario is getting more of the share of the UFO reports every year. There used to be an emphasis on the west, in some of our earlier reports,' said Chris Rutkowski, the national Ufology group's research director, in Winnipeg.
'But now it seems to be distributed a little better.'

Despite 11 percent of the 986 reported incidents being unexplained, none of the sightings involved any alleged alien contact.
'Popular opinion to the contrary, there is no incontrovertible evidence that some UFO cases involve extraterrestrial contact,' the study noted as reported by CBS News

More than half of the UFO sightings last year in Canada were of lights in the sky.
Some had various shapes, ranging from eliptical, to bommerang to the classic spherical.
'Results of this study show many people continue to report unusual objects in the sky, and some of these objects do not have obvious explanations,' the study noted.
'Many witnesses are pilots, police and other individuals with reasonably good observing capabilities and good judgement.'

One particular sighting from the end of last year was interesting to the study.
'Somebody had seen a grey, shiny, disk-shaped object flying below the clouds, in a hanging motion, near Morris,' said Rutkowski.
'There was no estimate of the size. It was hanging below the clouds and was seen for about a minute and a half, before it just disappeared.'
The increase the number of UFO sightings is reportedly 'related to a growing awareness within the general population that there are agencies which collect UFO reports,' and that 'there are more private websites allowing people to report their UFO sightings,' stated the report.
Or maybe, 'there really are more UFOs physically present in the sky.'
